Snake robot new module printed with a rapid prototyper

To better understand how snakes execute different gait patterns we designed a module which can sense the reaction forces from the ground. This will enable us to understand how the snakes get traction from the ground while they move. Also to bio-mimick the behavior of snakes responding to feeble vibrations and sound we are using a highly sensitive Mems microphone. This should enable us to make the snake robot sense move away from the source of vibrations.
